I finally knit TWO socks that actually go together! I used my White 1602 doublebed, the world's best sock machine, and Elann's sock yarn. I have purchased many balls of this wonderful and reasonably priced thread and I am going into sock production mode now that I have conquered the sock. I can do a pair in about three hours. I really like this pattern, not only because Cary directed how they should go (little rib at the top, wide toe) but also because it requires almost no making up. Just a few stitches at the tip of the toe and a tiny seam up the inch or so of rib.
